From Transition to Practice Programs and Beyond!​ A Week-by-Week Neuro ICU Orientation Guideline for Preceptors of New Graduate Nurses

Learning Outcomes:

1. As a result of this activity, learners will understand the need to properly support preceptors in their decision making in the neuroscience practice development of new graduate nurses.​
2. As a result of this activity, learners will be able to visualize a preceptor-orientee guideline for new graduate nurses in a large level one comprehensive stroke and trauma center neuroscience intensive care unit.
3. As a result of this activity, learners will be able to identify the role that nursing leadership has in the continuation of support for preceptors and their orientees.
