A No-Brainer: Targeted Simulation Experiences for Intermediate Neuroscience Nursing Care Emergencies

Learning Outcomes:

1. As a result of this activity, the learner will be able to identify high risk/ low volume neurologic emergencies occurring in the intermediate care unit.
2. As a result of this activity, the learner will be able to identify key clinical emergencies common in the neuroscience patient.
3. As a result of this activity, the learner will be able to identify and respond to the neurologic patient at risk for airway compromise.
